Sometimes you’re feeling down and need to write whatever comes out. Just write.
The Constant Reopening of Wounds
Sometimes it takes getting the words out repeatedly to heal. Healing isn’t easy. Your wounds reopen a thousand times before they heal permanently. Is that true? Do wounds ever heal? Does remembering reopen them? Does living keep creating them? Your insides are covered in them. Your heart is filled with stitches. The pain doesn’t want to let go. It wraps you up like a blanket without the security. It tightens and weakens your soul. It brings darkness, trying to permanently erase the light. It creates confusion and uncertainty. It creates a world where you're always running. It creates a world where you’re always ashamed— where doubt wins every time. It smothers you endlessly.
